Laozhaishan Mountain

Laozhaishan Mountain is the highest mountain in Xingping Ancient Town, located next to the Rongshutan Pier on the Li River. The mountain is composed of limestone and is a typical karst landform scenic spot. The height of Laozhaishan Mountain is about 300 meters, with over 1100 climbing steps. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The whole village covers an area of about 0.4 square kilometers, with dense shrubs and lush grass. The rock mass is moist all year round, and water flows down from high to low, forming a self flowing well at the foot of the eastern mountain. The well water never stops all year round, known as"the Great Mountain", so Laozhaishan Mountain is also known as"the Great Well Mountain".

Laozhaishan Mountain is known as the best place to enjoy the scenery and the sunrise and sunset of Xingping, as well as the best photography spot on the Li River. Therefore, although the road up the hill is steep, it still attracts many photography enthusiasts to gather here.
