Comment on our service from Nakki Miyai, USA
We had a very enjoyable trip, and we thank you for your efforts to make our trip successful. Thanks again for all your efforts on our behalf!
Hope you are well. Sorry it has taken so long to reply to your request. There were so many things we had to catch up on when we came home, after 2-1/2 week vacation. BTW, did you receive the survey forms which we completed and gave back to each tour guide? Anyway, here are our comments.
•Hotel Accommodations. We really enjoyed Peninsula Beijing. Service, rooms, and food were excellent. This was the best hotel out of our entire trip (including Tokyo, Dongguan, and Hong Kong – which we arranged ourselves). On the other hand, Sofitel (Renmin Square) in Xi’an needs some improvements. The hot water carafe was dirty – they provided a replacement immediately. When I ran the water in the bath tub, BROWN water was dispensed. I guess I should not consider to take a bath when the water is not drinkable – LOL. But, at least the hotel should run the water frequently to avoid such dirty water to come out – this makes a bad impression on guests.
•Tour Guides. We enjoyed both tour guides very much. They had quite different personalities, but they were knowledgeable and everything went smoothly.
•Food. We were satisfied with all the food arrangements with the one exception. The breakfast buffets at both hotels had a very good variety and was quite tasty. Both lunches in Beijing were very good. We especially enjoyed the Garden Restaurant nearby the Mutianyu Great Wall.
•Flight Arrangements. Both flights were very smooth, on time departure and arrival. We also had aisle seats as requested. One big surprise for us was even on such short flights, they provided in-flight meal. (In USA, for coach/economy seats, there is no more food served on flights less than 5 hours for. Even then, it is only a simple snack of crackers or such.)
Overall, we had a very enjoyable trip, and we thank you for your efforts to make our trip successful. Yes, I would very much like to visit Guilin someday…
Thanks again for all your efforts on our behalf!
Best wishes,
Nakki Miyai
