updated: 2019-09-25
The management bureau of Jiuzhai Valley scenic area said that part of the Jiuzhaigou National Park in southwest China's Sichuan Province will reopen to public on September 27th, i.e. the World Tourism Day, on a trial basis.
After over two years of rebuilding, about 85% of the earthquake-struck park is ready to receive tourists, according to the local bureau.
Jiuzhaigou National Park will open from 08:30 to 17:00 daily and receive no more than 5,000 tourists a day during the trial period. Tourists need to buy tickets from designated website before visiting there, and all visitors are required to join a tour group, individual visitors are temporarily not received.
