Finnair to Launch Its First Helsinki-Chongqing Flight

Finnair, one of the world's oldest operating airlines, has announced that it will start a direct flight from Helsinki to Chongqing from May 2012, the Xinhua News Agency reported on Wednesday.
It is the first direct service launched by European airlines to this inland city, located in Southwest China.
Flights will be operated by Airbus A340 and will take place four times a week. The route will take eight-and-a-half hours.
In addition to Chongqing, Finnair is also planning to add other 10 Asian cities to its direct-flight destination list.
