Canada's Delta Hotels Opening China Rep Office

The Canadian high-end hotel management company Delta Hotels and Resorts recently announced that it will open a representative office in China.
The company says it aims to enhance its brand recognition with the nation's tourism industry and its local consumers.
Melissa Deally, the national account director of Delta Hotels and Resorts, said Delta has been partnering with the Canada Tourism Commission by attending showcase events over the years.
Deally said that Delta's executives are certainly interested in the opportunities that China market represents now. Travel has gradually become an essential part of life for Chinese people and outbound travel will continue to grow rapidly. She added that the rapid growth in the number of leisure and business travelers not only promote China's domestic market but also has a significant potential for Canadian tourism.
