Itinerary: Full day tour to First Bend of the Yangtze River, Tiger Leaping Gorge and the Stone Drum Town with lunch. (Private vehicle and guide)
You will be picked up from your hotel then start the tour.
In the morning we will drive to the Stone Drum Town and visit the First Bend of the Yangtze River.It lies in Shigu Town, Lijiang. Rushing down from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, "the roof of the world", the Yangtze surges into Yunnan from its northwest, where it meets Lancang River and Nu River. Then, they go together through the high mountains and deep gorges of Hengduan Mountains. You will be impressed by this natural power You can enjoy the beautiful and wonderful view of the first bend of the Yangtze River and the nature there and enjoy the leisure life and visiting in the stone drum town.
The stone drum town(shigu town) is a small town in Lijiang county where the first bend of the Yangtze River located.
After the lunch, you will be sent to taste the splendid view at the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the gorge is one of the deepest gorge in the world, the full length of it is 18KM, and you can enjoy its section and the highlight of its beauty in your trip.Being one of Yunnan's most famous spots, the gorge itself is tucked neatly between the Yulong Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain, which surround its two sides.
After the tour you will be transfered back to your hotel and finish the tour today.
