D1 Chengdu- Leshan- Emeishan
Pick-up point and time: Your hotel centrally located in Chengdu between 7:00am and 8:00am
Finishing point and time: Hotel at the foot of Mt. Emei at around 8:00pm
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel in downtown Chengdu (within the 2nd ring road), and be driven to suburb to visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. You will visit the rooms of adult pandas, sub-adult pandas and baby pandas, you can see they are eating bamboos and playing around.
In the afternoon you will be driven to Leshan city (about 2 hours driving) to visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, which is the largest cliff carving statue in China, with a height of 71 meters. Facing a river, the Buddha has three-meter-long fingers. The eight-meter-long instep is big enough for one hundred people to sit on and the 28-meter-wide shoulder is large enough to be a basketball playground. You will visit from the head of the gigantic Buddha to his enormous toes (alternatively, you will take boat to visit the Giant Buddha on the river in front of the Buddha).
After visiting Leshan you will be driven to Emeishan, check in the hotel at the foot of Mt. Emei. This evening you will have a leisure walk at the local Gourmet Street, where you can enjoy your dinner there (dinner cost is not included in tour package).

D2 Emeishan- Chengdu
Pick-up point and time: Your hotel at about 7:00am
Finishing point and time: Chengdu railway station at around 8:00pm
Today you will visit the Mount Emei, one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. In the morning go up to Golden Submit by bus and cable car (cable car fee 120RMB not included in the package). Sightsee at Golden Submit, you will visit Huazang Temple, and enjoy the magnificent view of the clouds and mountains. At noon take sightseeing bus down to Wannian Temple, which is located in middle of the mountain. You will trek along the path of essential scenic zone to visit Wannian Temple, Qingyin Pavilion, Monkey Zone, etc, walk down the hill to WuxianGang.
After the tour today you will be driven to railway station and take bullet train back to Chengdu within only 1.5 hours.
