Guiyang/Anshun/Guiyang (B,L)

Sightseeing: Huangguoshu Waterfall & Tianxing Qiao Scenic Area, Cultural Village in Tianlong

In the morning you will drive to Anshun. Arriving there, you will visit Huangguoshu Waterfall. Huangguoshu Waterfall, a milky way in miniature, is the largest waterfall in Asia. Seventy-four meters (243 feet) high and eighty-one meters (266 feet) wide, it is a scenic marvel. Do not miss it if you are in Guizhou Province. Known as the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, it is 45 kilometers (28 miles) southwest of Anshun city in Guizhou Province. Together with minor waterfalls, the charms of Huangguoshu Waterfall are a natural tourist drawing card. Hospitable ethic groups add the human touch.

Tianxing Qiao Scenic Area
:Featuring the perfect combination of stones, trees and water, the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Zone is a natural miniascape evolving from the growing stone forests in water. Compared with the grandness of the Huangguoshu Waterfalls, it is more bijou and beautiful. A couplet generalizing its verve goes like that: “It is compared to a gigantic miniature garden created by wind knife and water sword; also an ancient painting painted by root pen and vine ink.”

Then continue visit the Cultural Village in Tianlong. It is one of these ancient Tunbao settlements built during the reign of Emperor Hongwu by the descendants of the soldiers of the expeditionary troops of the Ming Dynasty, where locals still wear the old-style clothes of that time and keep most of the cultural traditions of the Ming Dynasty. This shows the Han's early migration from Central China to this mountainous area. You can see a similar life style to that of Central China. Moreover, you could enjoy a Chinese traditional local opera called "Dixi" which is only found in Guizhou as your optional choice.

Drive back to Guiyang after the tours.

Day 3 Guiyang/Kaili (B,L)

Sightseeing: Kaili Ethnic Minorities Museum, Shiqiao Miao village, Qingman Miao Village

In the morning, we will drive to Kali. First visit Kaili Ethnic Minorities Museum. Kaili Museum is actually an Ethnic Minorities Museum, which displays some buildings, food and drink, costumes, festivals, production, recreation, etiquette, morals and beliefs etc. created by Miao People. It provides a broad, comprehensive introduction to the history of the various ethnic minorities that make up the multi-cultural patchwork that is the southeastern part of present-day Guizhou Province. The Kaili museum will have 12 exhibition halls when it is completed. Currently there are only 4 exhibition halls open to the public, of which the Minority Customs Hall and the Dragon Boat Hall are the most noteworthy.

Then move to Shiqiao Miao village. Visit Shiqiao village, where Miao people make special paper by tree bark. For thousands of year Shiqiao village offer the paper for miao people in this rigion. Till nowaday you can see almost every village make different type of paper for decoration house, lantern.

Finally, we will visit to Qingman Miao Village. Located about 14 miles to the southwest of Kaili, Qingman Miao Village is built along the mountain contours. Surrounded by green mountains and rivers, it is the sweet home to over 300 households and 1,600 Miao people. The unique wooden stilt houses put up range upon range are indeed a splendid scene to see! During your visit here, you’ll experience many traditional ceremonies and performance, which are absolutely attractive.

Day 4 Kaili/Xijiang/Kaili (B,L)

Kaili/Xijiang/Kaili (B,L)

Sightseeing: Xijiang Miao Village, Jidao Miao Village, Embroidery Museum. Back to Kaili in the afternoon

Trip to Xijiang, the biggest Miao village in China, with more than a thousand traditional houses gathered on the steep slopes of a high mountain.

Visit Jidao Miao Village. It is a original and beautiful village with a small river pass by, set in idyllic surroundings and populated by ethnic Miao people. Village life is simple and children play as their parents tend fields of lush, organically grown vegetables surrounded by towering pine forests. Elderly women stoke fires in traditional wooden houses, some hundreds of years old. It is so poor, mountainous and remote that the tranquility here is not yet broken by a flood of rich Chinese tourists and foreign visitors.

Then you will have visit to Embroidery Museum. Demonstration of the ethnic costumes in Guizhou where you can learn their traditional way of making different embroideries.

Drive back to Kaili in the afternoon.

Longji Rice Terraces Guilin tour
Thank your for all your organizing and help with our trip.  Cici in Beijing, Wendy in Xian and Lee in Quilin were all fantastic tour guides.  It was wonderful to see Lee again.  She was our guide in 2014 when we visited Guilin and Yangshuo.   Your agency helped us with our trip that time too.

Thanks for the lovely tea cups - they will always be reminders of a special time our family had on our holiday in China.

If there are any websites you would like us to post reviews, we will be happy to do so.

I must commend your team as well as our guide and driver for their excellent service and job done. We were very satisfied with the arrangements.

Thank you for your follow-up email. I must commend your team as well as our guide and driver for their excellent service and job done.

My young son felt at home with her, and she went out of her way to take care of him and entertain him during the trip. She was also very knowledgeable about most things that we had questions about. We were very satisfied with the arrangements.

I've attached a few photos of us having a great time. We were lucky to experience good weather in Nanjing as well during our travels, with no rain and warm temperatures.

Will definitely contact you when we next return to China.

Best Regards,
Yuyi

Guide was excellent, helpful, informative but not intrusive. Driver was very good, did not drive too fast or zig-zag along the roads. We chose your company as you gave us the best price by a big margin.

Thank you for organizing the trip, we had a great time.

1. Guide was excellent, helpful, informative but not intrusive.

2. Driver was very good, did not drive too fast or zig-zag along the roads. Only problem was that the seatbelt in the van did not work properly.

3. We chose your company as you gave us the best price by a big margin. Lots of companies seem to quote ridiculous prices for non-Chinese travelers.

Thank you very much and if we plan to visit somewhere unusual like this again I will get in touch with your company.

Thanks
Martin

Thank you so much for organizing the Tour for us - my Boss loved it!!!

All went well - actually much better than I thought it would be.

The tour guide Lucy (Ling Ling) was simply amazing - what a wonderful lovable and knowledgeable person!!!!

She took care of us in the most perfect way.

If there's a tourist guide that can work really well with foreigners, it's Lucy.

Her command of English was simply great.

Thank you again for arranging everything.

Enjoy the rest of the day.
