Beijing snacks, combining varied flavors of different nationalities including Han, Hui, Meng, Man and court snacks from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), has formed the characteristic of their own. It is said that there are over 200 kinds of snacks in Beijing.
