Rizhao of Shandong Province to Adopt E-tickets for All Scenic Spots
updated: 2010-05-19
It is learned from Rizhao Tourism Administration that tourists will no longer need to buy tickets at the gates of scenic spots; instead, they can log on Rzta.com or the websites of scenic spots to book e-tickets and even can get a discount by paying through Internet banking.
The e-tickets will use a two-dimensional bar code technology that not only provides tourism information and services to tourists, but makes it easier for scenic spots' management, as it is possible to inquire about the number of tourists and the time tourists enter the spots.
The two-dimensional bar code e-tickets are expected to not only solve problems like low efficiency, poor accuracy, and resource waste, but also provide a new experience of "green and easy travel" for tourists.
