Location: Harbin Yabuli ski resort is located 193 kilometers to the Harbin city, it is located in the Shangzhi city and on eastern part of Heilongjiang province.
Admission fee: The price to ski at Yabuli ski resort depends on what slide rail you choose, slide way for the beginners, intermediate or advanced. Prices range from RMB50/2hours to RMB420/day.
Opening time: 08:00 – 16:30(day time), and 16:00 – 21:00(evening time).

How to get there:

Harbin to Yabuli: The No. N11 train leaves from Harbin at 07:48 and arrives at the south train station of Yabuli village, the ticket price is about CNY50 yuan, then tourists can take mini bus to the 'Windmills Mountain Villa', it is the leisure resort of Yabuli Ski Resort, the bus departs every 10 minutes and the price is only RMB10 yuan.

By bus: Buses that departs for Windmills Mountain Villa departs at Longyun bus station (in front of the train station of Harbin) every morning at 7:00, 10:00 and 13:20 in the afternoon. You can get back to Harbin from Yabuli by booking the ticket at the Windmills Villa.

The elevation of the peak at Yabuli is 1374.8 meters, the average temperature of the ski resort is minus 10 degree centigrade, snows will not melt for about 170 days here which enable the days available for skiing lasts about 150 days. The best time to ski at Yabuli is from mid November to late March.

Yabuli Ski Resort is currently the biggest and has the most complete facilities among ski resorts in China. Among its features is the 3800m long main skiing trail located at an altitude of 1300m. Cable car lifts are also available. Yabuli Ski Resort is surrounded by mountain ranges covered with pine forests.

The most famous mountains at Yabuli ski resort is named the Guokui hill, means the helmet-shaped mountains, the lanes here were once used as the ski race lines during the third Asian Winter Games and now have become the training lanes for the Chinese national ski team. Yabuli Ski Resort has the longest mountain slide rails in Asia.

A 5 kilometers circle off-road locates in the Yabuli ski field, the resort also has special lanes for snowmobiles and sleds, it is regarded as the China's Davos. Except skiing and snow activities, Yabuli ski resort is also suitable for enjoy leisure life and spend your vacations, fishing, playing golf, boating, the equipment here are complete and interesting, which makes it a good place to avoid the hot summer.

Accommodations: The windmills mountain villa is the best place to stay; it is located right in front of the ski resort, with convenient transportation and comfortable rooms. The price of Windmills Villa is not cheap, the price for standard room is usually around RMB300 yuan, guest can choose triple room or quadruple room at lower prices, from RMB80 – 120.

Food: Travelers can enjoy the local Chinese food only available in the northeastern parts of China very easily, there are some local restaurants opened by farmers in the Yabuli scenic spot areas, having lunch or dinner there can be a special experience, sitting on the heated brick bed and feel the local culture, however, the food price there isn't cheap too.

Shopping: There are many special souvenir shops in Harbin. All kinds of handicrafts are sold in these shops, such as, windmills, redware, crystal, wooden picture, Russia Tawa, doll, etc. You can also buy various local products of Northeast China like compressed mushroom, edible wild herbs, pollen and honey.

Ski equipments: You may need to pay about RMB50-80 for a renting for the ski suit and RMB30-50 for the ski goggles, different grade of skiing helmets, caps, gloves, barcer and other ski equipments are available at Yabuli Ski Resort.
