It seems that the three pits have composed an organic system, with the No.3 Pit as headquarter.
Pit No.3 is 25 miles northwest of Pit No.1 and 120 miles west of Pit No.2. Covering about 520 square meters, Pit No.3 is the smallest pit among all the excavated pits, only 36% of Pit No.1 and 67% of Pit No.3. The No.3 Pit is in a shape of “凹” with 68 terracotta warriors, 4 horses and 1 chariot.
You can appreciate vivid and various kinds of the head of warriors, all sorts of bronze weapons and warriors in the hall. There is a war chariot in front of the door and 68 warriors inside the hall. It has inferred that Pit No.3 seems to be the incomplete headquarter, where shatters of warriors can be found.
