Located southwest of Sichuan Province, Emeishan City, which shares a same name (峨眉山) with the famous Emeishan Mountain (Emei Mountain or Mount Emei) in Mandarin Chinese, is situated 130 kilometers southwest of the capital city of Chengdu.
