Day 1
Arrival Chengdu

Upon your arrival in Chengdu you will be met by your local guide and then be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2
Chengdu (B, L)

Sightseeing: Wuhou Memorial Temple, Jinli Street, Sanxingdui Ruins
Today we will fist visit Wuhou Memorial Temple. The Temple is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the Martial Marquis of Shu in the Three Kingdoms. His outstanding intelligence place Zhuge Liang above all emperors, generals, and ministers in history.
Afterwards you will take a walk along Jinli Street which is particularly representative for this city. It is recorded that as already during Qin Dynasty (221 BC - 206 BC), Jinli Street was the most famous place for baldachin - a rich, ornate cloth. During Shu Kingdom (221-263) it was one of the busiest commercial streets. Hence, it is known as 'First Street of the Shu Kingdom'. In order to reclaim the street's prosperity of former days, it was restored with contributions from the Wuhou Memorial Temple and was opened to public in October of 2004.
After lunch, we will drive to Sanxingdui Ruins. In the long-history city there are green hills and fresh water, the scenery is beautiful, the climate is gentle, the product is rich. The name Sanxingdui means the three-star mounds at the ruins, indicating three stars in company with the moon. The scientific discoveries and excavation to Sanxingdui unveiled the history of 5,000 years of ancient Shu.
Day 3

Program: Panda Keeper experience at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base
Today's Panda keeper experience at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base will be a highlight of you trip.
Schedule for One day:
8:30-8:35 Check in
8:35-10:30 Perform keeper's duties at the enclosure.
10:30-11:30 Tour of the Panda Base, and learn more about giant pandas and biodiversity.
11:30-13:30 meal and break
13:30 Gather and go to the enclosure.
13:30-14:30 Perform keeper's duties.
14:30-15:20 Visit Panda Museum and watch giant panda documentary.
15:20-15:30 Certificate issued
15:30 Depart
Note: Schedule may change in the event of unforeseen circumstance. Pandas have their own behavior and life style. Some of your keeper work may change as not to disturb their peaceful life.
Your Keeper's duties may include:
1. Feeding the pandas (fresh bamboo, apple or panda cake).
2. Cleaning the enclosure to give the pandas a clean and comfortable place.
3. Collecting and weighing the feces. (This is the most effective way to determine the health of the panda.)
4. Cleaning bamboo. (It is important to give pandas clean food.)
5. Cleaning the panda. Rinse the panda with cool water and see how much they enjoy it, but just in very hot summer.
6. Weighing fresh bamboo. It is important to know how much is offered to pandas, how much they consume, and the weight of their feces. Proper consumption of bamboo is critical to the health of pandas.
Day 4
Chengdu / Departure (B)
Transfer via: Flight – on your own arrangement
Today you can enjoy some leisure time until your guide will pick you up and transfer you to the airport from where you will take the flight to your next destination.

D. Guide and Driver: As outlined in the itinerary, a well selected English-speaking guide and driver will accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
E. Hotels: Hotel Based on two persons sharing one room with twin beds. All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
F. Luggage Transfers: Between airports and hotels.
G. Service Charge & Government Taxes.
H. Travel insurance in mainland China during the above travel period.
I. Arrangements: The tour cost includes planning, handling, operational and communication charges.
I have just come back from the most amazing 4 day visit to Guilin and Yangshuo that was organised by VisitOurChina. It was my first trip to China, and researching everything online felt daunting and overwhelming until I communicated with Lisa from VisitChina. She planned my entire trip and thought about every single detail. She even noticed that my flight arrival time wouldn’t allow me to take the train from Guangzhou to Guilin, so she organised a very convenient hotel for me to stay in so I could catch the right train the next morning. Little details like that made my trip completely carefree. I trusted Lisa, and she did not disappoint — she planned everything perfectly. My guide, Janet, spoke English very well and was a wealth of knowledge, which made travelling in a foreign country so much easier and more interesting. Without Janet and our driver, I would have had so much difficulty getting around. I really would have been frustrated and lost without her. Janet made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. She was friendly, patient, and always willing to help us with anything extra we needed or any additional places we wanted to go. She was so knowledgeable and gave us interesting information as we toured the places. That’s something I wouldn’t have got if I had organised a trip on my own. We visited Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill, Elephant Trunk Hill, and Janet took us to a local place to try the famous and delicious Guilin rice noodles. On the second day, we went to see the spectacular Longji rice terraces and visited the traditional Yao village. On the third day, we went on a cruise along the majestic Li River and stayed in Yangshuo, which became my favourite part of the trip. The bamboo rafting along the Yulong river was the highlight — such stunning and serene scenery. Contacted Lisa from Visit Our China to arrange a 9D8N tour of Guangzhou Guilin for a group of 8. I provided a list of places to visit and Lisa was able to craft out the itinerary. We also made some changes along the way as one of the members had difficulty walking. The member even contacted Lisa to ask for advice on alternative locations to visit. Lisa's response is within 24 hours, crystal clear and very open for discussions. The tour itself ran perfectly with English speaking guides in both locations.
