Lingering in Daxu Ancient Town If you think Guilin scenery is more natural, no more cultural or historical, there is a place which you must see. It is Daxu Ancient Town, which is located to the southwest of Guilin, on shore of the Li River. It takes about 40 minuets by driving from Guilin. So, many Guilin citizens like to diver car to enjoy weekend in this area. In the mean time, Daxu town now is a big town in Guilin area, and its market is very famous, many people just go to Daxu town on purpose during market time. But it is a little hard for me to count the date, as the market date is based on Chinese lunar calendar. P.S.: In Chinese, Xu means local market, so, Daxu means big local market, very cute name for the ancient town....

Yellow Ginkgo Leaves Trip On Sunday, I was with full of expectation and curiosity to start my trip to Haiyang town which is located in east part of Guilin area, about 40 kilometers far away from Guilin city. The regular buses between Guilin city and Haiyang town are available daily from early morning to late evening, the bus trip just takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to Haiyang, so, it is very convenient to get there. Also, the bus ticket price is very cheap, just RMB7 per way, you do not need wait too long for the bus, very frequent for the shuttle. ...

This is my first time to take part in some sport affairs as a company member after graduation from university. Although I had played many football games when I was a student, the feeling I had this time was totally different.

We have some really good players in the company; it is hard to find some male players who are good at some sport games in an international travel agency, because the total number of the male is much less than the female! We are quite lucky, isn't it?

My first job as a Tour Guide Thursday, 16th April 2009It finally happened that I was allowed to accompany a China-traveling group, when visiting Guilin. Thursday in the afternoon I met Mr Sun, the official local tour guide. It turned out to be a German speaking Chinese, because apparently the group, consisting of 13 people, was from eastern Germany. Mr Sun was very open-minded and so we had lots of topics to talk about while sitting in the bus to the airport. ...

4 Days Hong Kong Also called, the Oriental Pearl, I was looking forward to spend 4 days in Hong Kong. Looking back I have to admit that the shopping malls, stores and small shops have been most impressing to me as a shopping freakJ. Every place I visited was full of temptations to spend my money on. Very funny was the Ladies Market close to the Nathan Road (Kowloon), where buyers have to be good bargainees, too. And an impressive mall is The Landmark, a shopping center full of luxury stores like Prada, TiffanysCo or Tods....
