The most beautiful marine lakes in Aer Mountain, Inner Mongolia

2013-07-11 | China travel Guide | Comments(0) |   Views:(161)

I do not know what exactly the Aer Mountain looks like except the advertisement 'Aer Mountain Purified Water'. But all the friends around recommend it as a great travel place. Before I leave, I need to do some preparation and start with a note. The lake catches all your attention. It appears differently in different time of the day or season. You need to come to the lake in person, otherwise my description will never be rightly pointed on its real beauty.

Located in Jiuzhaigou County of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan, well known as the ‘paradise’, Jiuzhaigou National Park is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. My expression may be quite simple and abstract and carries little conviction. But actually I can never find proper words to ‘paint a picture’.

2012-06-11 | China travel Guide | Comments(0) |   Views:(65)

My friend Winnie recently joined a tourist group and went to her dream land, Shangri-La. When she shared her feelings and photos with me, my tidy of thoughts and feelings fully flows out. Actually, since I saw a picture of Shangri-La in my second year at university, I have been dreaming of there. The blue sky and white clouds make it an extraordinary pure land. Recently, a mouthwatering food Matsutake which appeared on the hot documentary A Bite of China increased my curiosity for Shangri-La. What she experienced in Shangri-La inspired me to write down this article.

Mulong Lake Park to open ASEAN Theme Zone in 2012

Known as a section of the scenic water system of "two river and four lakes" in Guilin, the Mulong Lake (木龙湖), literally Wooden Dragon Lake, is an artificial lake connecting the Li River in the east and channeling the water into the downtown area of the city. Leaning against the several hundreds old Song city wall and the Diecai Hill, the lake was named after the Mulong Hole on the upper part of the hill, and so is the 45-meter-high Mulong Tower and the Mulong Arch Bridge stretching over the Mulong Lake. On the other and of the bridge there are waterside pavilions where actresses in Chinese ancient dress perform classic Chinese music show in the evening.

Because travelling is passion…

It all started on one afternoon when, sat on a bench at GXNU (Guangxi Normal University) having a juice with some Costa Rican friends, we decided to move away for the next coming weekend and leave – the though beautiful – Guilin city for one day or so with just a backpack and the unforgettable Lonely Planet guide to have fun. (I extremely recommend that guide, it helped me a lot since I started to travel in China 4 years ago!).

It has been long time I planned to take a visit Hong Kong, it was a little pity last time I did not visit Hong Kong once I was in Macao in 2009, because I would like to give myself more time to explore Hong Kong as it is worthy to spend several days instead of only one day. So, in early June, during my Dagon Boat Festival holiday, I had the opportunity to visit Hong Kong, my dream really came true. Now let me show you some Hong Kong highlights which I found.
