Downstream: Chongqing → Shanghai (7 days)

Day1

Board the ship from 09:00 to 10:00 and departs Chongqing at 11:00. (Overnight accommodation for morning departure is not included)
(17:00-19:30) Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City.

Fengdu, with fantastic temples of underworld demons and gods, is constructed on the Mingshan Hill by the river band. It is known as the "Ghost City" and is a place for punishing the devil and awarding the good.

Day2

(08:00 - 13:00) Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges.

Lesser Three gorges,made of Longmen Gorge,Bawu Gorge and Dicui Gorge,is 50 kilometers long.The river is very shallow,and the water is lucid.It is full of steep peaks.Its beauty is even superior to the Three gorges .The mini three gorges of Madu River,5 kilometers long,is situated at the Madu riverside of the branch of Daning River.

Day3

(08:00-10:30) Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site.

Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project undertaken by man . The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Tourists can get access to the top of the dam.

Day4

(12:00-15:00) shore excursion to Wuhan, visiting the Hubei Provincial Museum.

The museum was built in 1953. In the museum the most precious collection is a complete set of 65 ritual bells of different sizes,which were made in the Chunqiu & Zhanguo dynasties(more than 2200 years ago).Enjoy the amazing ritual bells concert.

Day5

(09:00-20:00) shore excursion to either Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) or Jiuhuashan(Mountain of the Nine Lotuses).

Huangshan: Located in southern Anhui Province, Mount Huangshan covers an area of 250 kilometers, of which 154 square kilometers are scenic attractions. Its landscape features “four wonders” of imposing peaks, spectacular rocks, odd-shaped pines, and a sea of clouds.Mount Huangshan boasts 72 peaks, more than 1,000 meters above sea level, with three main peaks rising majestically

Jiuhuashan: Mount Jiuhua is located in the Qingyang County of the Anhui Province and covers more than 100 square kilometers in area. The Shiwang Mountain, the main peak, is 1342 meters above sea level. Mount Jiuhua is full of waterfalls, streams, exotic-looking boulders, ancient caves, old pines and exuberant bamboo. With the richly variegated landscape, the ancient temples are tucked away amid the dense woods, and the air reverberates with the tolling of the bells at dawn and dusk.

Day6

Full day tour of Nanjing including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style Bazaar .
(21:00) Leave Nanjing for Shanghai.

Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum : Covering an area of 80,000 square meters (about 20 acres), Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum is located in the Zhong Mountain Scenic Area in the east suburb of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. As the mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the father of the Republic of China, it is considered the Holy land of Chinese people both home and abroad. (08:00) Disembark at Shanghai.

(21:00) Leave Nanjing for Shanghai

Day8

(08:30-12:00) Shore excursion to either Fengdu Ghost City or Wanxian County.

Fengdu, with fantastic temples of underworld demons and gods, is constructed on the Mingshan Hill by the river band. It is known as the "Ghost City" and is a place for punishing the devil and awarding the good.

Wanxian: One of the most important and largest ports on the Yangtze. It is widely known for its variety and hustling markets. Fifty percent of the city will be resettled after the Three Gorges Dam Project is completed.

(08:30) Disembark at Chongqing
