The sister cruise ships on the Yangtze River, Galaxy 1 and Galaxy 2, were launched for the first time in 2002. They are made based on the standard of 4-star sightseeing ships and aim at catering to the international growing need of comfort, convenience and security. Downstream: Chongqing → Yichang (4 days)

Day1

Board the ship from 17:00 to 22:00 for overnight accomodation(Dinner is not included).

Day2

(08:00) Departs Chongqing.
(14:00-17:00) Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City or New Wanxian County.

Fengdu, with fantastic temples of underworld demons and gods, is constructed on the Mingshan Hill by the river band. It is known as the "Ghost City" and is a place for punishing the devil and awarding the good.
Wanxian: One of the most important and largest ports on the Yangtze. It is widely known for its variety and hustling markets. Fifty percent of the city will be resettled after the Three Gorges Dam Project is completed.

Day3

(09:00-13:30) Boat excursion to Shennong stream .

Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations.

Day4

(07:30-09:30) Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site.
(11:00) Disembark at Yichang .

Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project undertaken by man . The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Tourists can get access to the top of the dam.

Upstream: Yichang → Chongqing (5 days)

Day1

(06:00) Departs Yichang.
(13:00-16:00) Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site.

The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Tourists can get access to the top of the dam.

Day3

(09:00-13:00) Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges.

Lesser Three gorges,made of Longmen Gorge,Bawu Gorge and Dicui Gorge,is 50 kilometers long.The river is very shallow,and the water is lucid.It is full of steep peaks.Its beauty is even superior to the Three gorges .The mini three gorges of Madu River,5 kilometers long,is situated at the Madu riverside of the branch of Daning River.

Day4

(0800-11:00) Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City.

(08:00) Disembark at Chongqing.
