The Century Sun, which took its first voyage in 2010, is one of the newest ships on the Yangtze River. Features The ship boasts the largest cabins, which all have river-viewing balconies. Other facilities include an administration deck, a VIP restaurant, a cigar bar, a five-deck tall hollow lobby, and two elevators. The ship serves both Chinese and Western cuisine. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style, and dinner is a table banquet setting. The ship is perfectly equipped with a sauna room and massage parlor, KTV, a theatre, a gym, a conference room, and a business center, providing great conveniences to passengers. The ship boasts two diamond suites, 14 executive cabins, four deluxe suite, and 112 deluxe standard cabins. The two diamond suites are the largest among all of the Yangtze cruise ships and provide room occupants with a river-viewing balcony.

Downstream: Chongqing → Yichang (4 days)

Day1

Board the ship from 17:00 to 20:00 and departs Chongqing at 22:00.

Day2

(8:00-10:00) Shore excursion to either Fengdu Ghost City or Wanxian, or Shibaozhai (depending on river conditions).Then return to the ship and sail towards the magnificent Three Gorges.

Fengdu, with fantastic temples of underworld demons and gods, is constructed on the Mingshan Hill by the river band. It is known as the "Ghost City" and is a place for punishing the devil and awarding the good.
Wanxian: One of the most important and largest ports on the Yangtze. It is widely known for its variety and hustling markets. Fifty percent of the city will be resettled after the Three Gorges Dam Project is completed.

Day3

(08:00-13:00) Passing through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge.
(13:00-16:30) Boat excursion to Shennong Stream.
(17:30) Passing through Xiling Gorge.

Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations.

Day4

(08:00-10:00) Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site.
(13:00) Disembark at Yichang

Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project undertaken by man . The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Tourists can get access to the top of the dam.

Upstream: Yichang → Chongqing (5 days)

Day1

Board the ship from 17:00 to 22:00 for overnight accomodation (Dinner is not included).

Day2

(06:00) Departs Yichang.
(13:00-16:00) Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site.

Day3

(09:00-13:00) Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges.

Lesser Three gorges,made of Longmen Gorge,Bawu Gorge and Dicui Gorge,is 50 kilometers long.The river is very shallow,and the water is lucid.It is full of steep peaks.Its beauty is even superior to the Three gorges .The mini three gorges of Madu River,5 kilometers long,is situated at the Madu riverside of the branch of Daning River.

Day4

(0800-11:00) Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City.

Day5

(08:00) Disembark at Chongqing.
