Day2 Chengdu/Dujiangyan
/ Wolong/Rilong/Shuan

Morning drive from Chengdu to Shuangqiao Valley via Dujiangyan, Wolong, and Rilong. Arrive at the nek of Balang Mountain (with an altitude of 4200m), and walk free for 1-2km to adapt to the high altitude at the rest of the day. Overnight today in local guesthouse in Shuangqiao Valley.

Day3 Redwood Forest/Niuxin Mountain

Early morning, start trek from the guesthouse to Redwood Forest and the campsite on Niuxin Mountain.

Yeren Peak Campsite

After breakfast, start trek to Yeren Peak Campsite, enjoy the scenery of surrounding peaks. The nek en route is about 4700 meters high above sea level. Today overnight camp in Yeren Peak.

After breakfast, trek down the mountain. Today overnight in local guesthouse in Rilong.

Drive back to Chengdu, or transfer to your next destination to continue your hiking according to your requirement.

 

Day 1 Chengdu Arrival

Arriving in Chengdu, you will be met by your local guide and then be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Chengdu to Rilong to Shuangqiao Valley

Sightseeing: Shuangqiao Valley, Balang Mountain

After breakfast, depart Chengdu for Shuangqiao Valley (about 260km) via Dujiangyan (a grand ancient irrigation system), Wolong (the hometown of Chinese panda), and Rilong(the nearest town to Mount Siguniang). Arrive at the nek of Balang Mountain, which has an altitude of 4200m and provides the best picturesque sceneries of Shuangqiao Valley, then walk free for 1-2km to adapt to the high altitude at the rest of the day.

Mt. Siguniang, the Queen of Sichuan's Peaks and a Paradise for Photographers, is the highest mountain of Qionglai Mountain in the Hengduan Mountain range. With graceful sceneries, it comprises four sword-sharp, precipitous snow peaks respectively rise 5025, 5276, 5355 and 6250 meters above the sea level.

Shuangqiao Valley, gets its name from its two wooden bridges, is the most charming among all valleys in Mount Siguniang; it features typical pasturing scenery with snowy peaks, meadows, forest and a multi-coloured Wuse Mountain. .

Day 3 Redwood Forest to Niuxin Mountain

Sightseeing: Redwood Forest, Niuxin Mountain

Early morning, start trek from the guesthouse to Redwood Forest, a gorgeous primeval redwood forest in the innermost of Shuangqiao Valley, and then continue the trek to the campsite on Niuxin Mountain, a famous attraction in Shuangqiao Valley which gets its name from its OX-heart-shape, and stands 4942 meters high above the sea level.

Day 4 Niuxin Mountain Campsite to Yeren Peak Campsite

Sightseeing: Yeren Peak

After breakfast, start trek to Yeren Peak Campsite, enjoy the surrounding scenery of snow peaks. The nek en route is about 4700 meters high above sea level.

Overnight camp in Yeren Peak.

Day 5 Yeren Campsite to Rilong

After breakfast, start trek down the mountain and arrive in Rilong Town, a nearest town to Mount Siguniang which is inhabited by Tibetans, Hui people and Han nationality.

Overnight in local guesthouse in Rilong Town.

Day 6 Chengdu

Drive back to Chengdu, or transfer to your next destination according to your requirement to continue your hiking.
