In the vast mountain areas of Southwest China, there exist abundant alpine wild flowers and plants. At different elevations with different growing environments in Hengduan Mountains, there is blessed with broad-leaved forest, coniferous forest, alpine bosk and meadows…The multiple phytocoenosium constitutes unique scenes, while bright-colored wild flowers just the lovely spirits shining in-between. In Siguniang Mountain, the highest standing in the eastern border of Hengduan Mountains, when it comes to blossom season from March to October, colors are the theme spread all over the wide stretches of mountains, plains, meadows, and ice edges of snow peaks. The whole alpine belt is just a brilliant world of gorgeous flowers, lily magnolia, rhododendron, greenish lily, meconopsis, snow saussurea…only when you in front of these unconstrained flowers can you deeply understand the glamour and profoundness of this marvelous high mountain.

Day1 Chengdu Arrive in Chengdu, be met and transferred to your hotel. Hotel
Day2 Chengdu/Dujiangyan
/Wolong/Rilong

Drive from Chengdu to Rilong (230km) via Dujiangyan and Wolong. After arrival, transfer to Balang Mountain to enjoy and shoot the amazing alpine flowers.

Early morning after breakfast, depart for Jiajin Mountain for flowers photographing. Later of the day, return to Rilong Town.

Day4 Rilong/Shuangqiao Valley

In the morning, depart for the interior area of Shuangqiao Valley for pleasant natural sceneries and flowers shooting.

Today overnight in local guesthouse in the valley.

/Changping Valley
In the morning, choose hike or ride a horse to Changping Valley for natural sceneries shooting; later of the day, arrive at Muluozi Campsite and overnight camp there. Camping

Hike to the interior area of the valley to enjoy the gorgeous alpine flowers.

Day7 Changping Valley/Rilong After breakfast, hike down the mountain, and spend about 5 hours to arrive in Rilong Town. Hotel
Day8 Rilong/Chengdu Drive back to Chengdu, or transfer to your next destination according to your requirement. Hotel
Day9 Chengdu Transfer to your next destination or back to your own city.

Day 1 Chengdu Arrival

Transfer via: Flight on your own arrangement

Arriving in Chengdu, you will be met by your local guide and then be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Chengdu to Rilong

Transfer via: vehicle arranged by us
Sightseeing: Balang Mountain

After breakfast, depart Chengdu for Rilong (230km, the nearest town to Mount Siguniang) via Dujiangyan (a grand ancient irrigation system) and Wolong (the hometown of Chinese panda). After arrival, transfer to Balang Mountain (which has an altitude of 4200m and provides the best picturesque sceneries of Shuangqiao Valley) to enjoy and shoot the amazing alpine flowers. After the shooting, transfer back to Rilong Town, overnight in local hotel.

Mt. Siguniang, the Queen of Sichuan's Peaks and a Paradise for Photographers, is the highest mountain of Qionglai Mountain in the Hengduan Mountain range. With graceful sceneries, it comprises four sword-sharp, precipitous snow peaks respectively rise 5025, 5276, 5355 and 6250 meters above the sea level.

Day 3 Rilong to Jiajin Mountain

Sightseeing: Jiajin Mountain

Early morning after breakfast, depart for Jiajin Mountain to enjoy and shoot the beautiful alpine flowers. Later in the day, return to Rilong Town.

Jiajin Mountain, a high and precipitous mountain adjacent to Mt. SIguniang, features abundant natural resources, well-preserved virgin forest, precious wild animals and unique sceneries attributed to kinds of waters.

Day 4 Rilong to Shuangqiao Valley

Sightseeing: Shuangqiao Valley

In the morning, depart for the interior area of Shuangqiao Valley of Mount Siguniang for pleasant natural sceneries and flowers shooting.

Shuangqiao Valley, gets its name from its two wooden bridges, is the most charming among all valleys in Mount Siguniang; it features typical pasturing scenery with snowy peaks, meadows, forest and a multi-coloured Wuse Mountain.

Today overnight in local guesthouse in the valley.

Day 5 Shuangqiao Valley to Changping Valley

Sightseeing: Changping Valley

In the morning, choose hike or ride a horse to Changping Valley for natural sceneries shooting; Changping Valley is both the location of the highest peak (Yaomei Peak) of Mt. Siguniang and the ideal place for mountaineering, rock climbing and ice climbing; the valley is gracefully equipped with rich kinds of primordial plants, well-preserved vegetation and many scattered Tibetan stockaded villages with their characteristic Tibetan architecture and pristine folk custom.

Today we will arrive at Muluozi Campsite of Changping Valley and overnight camp there. Muluozi, located at the mountain foot of the highest peak (Yaomei Peak, 6250m high) of Mt.Siguniang, is a broad and flat lawn with an altitude of 3760 meters, a place of richest vegetation and the campsite location for mountaineers.

Day 6 Changping Valley

Sightseeing: Changping Valley

Hike to the interior area of the Changping Valley to enjoy the gorgeous alpine flowers and free photo shoot there. 

Overnight camp at Muluozi Campsite.

Day 7 Changping Valley to Rilong

Start hike in the morning down the mountain, and spend about 5 hours to arrive in Rilong Town, a nearest town to Mount Siguniang which is inhabited by Tibetans, Hui people and Han nationality.

Overnight today in local hotel.

Day 8 Rilong to Chengdu

Drive back to Chengdu, or transfer to your next destination according to your requirement to continue your hiking.

Transfer via: on your own arrangement

Transfer to your next destination or back to your city on your own arrangement.
