Xishuangbanna

Xishuangbanna belongs to the tropical rainforest climatic zone, with a long summer and minimum winter. Banna is covered with dense forests, and summer temperatures are relatively pleasant, as the area is situated in the cool hills, and shelter provided by the forest and trees. The rainy season here falls between May and October, when it rains almost every day. The best time to visit is between November and April。
Yunnan has a diverse climate, embracing temperate, tropical and rigid zones in one province. Kunming, the capital city, is marked by a pleasant spring weather which prevails year round while it is also notable for the abrupt change into winter weather caused by rain.
Dali's climate is somewhat similar to that of Kunming. Lijiang has a rather cold climate whereas Xishuangbanna is rather hot for most of the year.
