Canton belongs to the subtropical climate where is full of monsoons, because of that the temperature rising all the year round. The maximum temperature rarely is minor to 15 o C or minor to 11 o C. The warmest months are a July and August, when the temperatures reach 33 o C. It is still hot in Guangzhou in June and September, the temperatures is still 31 o C. It is common that there are rains all the year round, in June the amount of the rain reaches 10.8 inches. May and June is the beginning of the rainy seasons.
In November the temperature begins to descend, after the season of rains, the temperatures are not higher than 25 o C. This one is the ideal season to visit Guangzhou, during this period the climate is moderately hot and dry, and the humidity is relatively low compared with other seasons. The temperatures descend more in December, January and February. There is less rainfalls in these months, as well as the levels of humidity. The temperature begins to rise again in April up to the 25 o C.
