Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Suzhou

Transfer via: transportation on your arrangement

Upon your arrival you will be met by your local guide and then be transferred to your hotel in Suzhou. Enjoy leisure time for the rest of the day.
Day 2 Suzhou (B, L)

Sightseeing: Panmen Scenery Area, Humble Administrators Garden

Lying to the southwest of Suzhou, Panmen Scenery Area, built on the base of some historic sites by using the architectural structure of classical gardens will be our first stop today. It is famous for its numerous historic relics and abundant human landscapes and has been listed as the National AAAA Tourist Area. Now, Panmen Scenery Area has become a tourist resort showing the unique historic and cultural features of Suzhou. The scenery area which is centered on Panmen City Gate consists of many scenic spots. Amongst them, Ruiguang Pagoda, Panmen City Gate and Wumen Bridge are praised as 'three fine sceneries'.

Then we will head to Humble Administrator’s Garden, the largest classical garden in Suzhou and one of the four most famous ones in China. Originally built in 1513 AD, the garden consists of three parts with different types buildings around streams and ponds.

Afterwards, we will visit the Grand Canal. As well as the Great Wall, it ranks as the country's greatest engineering achievement and it is the longest man-made waterway in world. Cruising on the Canal, you will see the local peoples’ life.

As Suzhou is also famous for its silk production we will spend some time in the No.1 Silk Factory to see how silk is processed from the silk worm to the final woven cloth.
Day 3 Suzhou (B, L)

Sightseeing: Tongli Water Town

Today we will go on a full day Tongli water town tour. Fifteen rivers divide the town into seven islands and 49 sets of historic bridges which connect the town as a whole.
Day 4 Departure Suzhou (B)

Transfer via: Train on your arrangement

In the morning you can enjoy some leisure time. Then you will be transferred to the railway station to your next destination.
